Yipi Bubble Tea

Entrance of Yipi Bubble Tea

Rob and Elise Loomis own Yipi Bubble Tea on Front Street in Poulsbo. Yipi is housed in a little cottage-like shop overlooking Liberty Bay. There’s a whole list of reasons to take the trip on the ferry to visit Yipi – the fun, bright interior, wonderful view, drinks, and amazing crepes are just a few for starters. Read more…

Fadó

Bangers and Mash

Bangers and Mash

In downtown Seattle, on the corner of 1st and Columbia, sits Fadó. As we walked up to it for the first time the other day, our interest was immediately peaked. We were enjoying a morning off in the city, and were staring to work up a serious appetite. My first time at Specialty’s, Josh ordered a mocha and had me taste it… I sheepishly realized about ten minutes later that I had polished it off. It was that good. We’ve had Saturday mornings when we will drive the 30 miles or so to get a mocha and amazing pastries from Specialty’s. Josh works nearby, and will frequent them during the day, occasionally bringing treats home for me. For Christmas, we had cookies shipped to family in Washington DC. You get the picture. We love them. Read more…

All City Coffee

Chai and Green Tea Bread

Chai and Green Tea Bread

The other day Josh and I were in Pioneer Square, and decided to try All City Coffee. It was quiet when we went in, possibly a slow time of the morning. The barista got our order for us and we took a seat at the bar by the window. Read more…
