Gorditos

Our Actual Burrito

Gorditos – inexpensive tasty weekend lunch. It was a Sunday afternoon, we didn’t feel like cooking and we didn’t feel like wasting a lot of money. But we wanted something hot, filling, and satisfying. Gorditos is an old favorite, so it was an easy choice!

The Outside of Gorditos

Gorditos has two locations – one in Seattle and one in Everett. Since we live in Everett, we frequent this location. The interior is open and clean and the atmosphere is causal. It’s counter-order, but they bring the food to you. The menu has a lot to choose from, but we always stick with our favorite – a chicken burrito, fajita-style (extra veggies cooked in fajita seasonings) and wet (some kind of amazing red sauce they cover it in). It’s filling and is more than enough for us to share. Combine that with chips and you’re set! He ordered a soda and I ordered horchata – our meal for two came to less than $12! I love it!

They also boast the burrito the size of a baby…. we don’t ever feel quite that hungry!

The Burrito the Size of a Baby

The burrito we get is packed full of chicken, grilled peppers, onions, and tomatoes, rice, beans, and cheese, and covered in a slightly spicy sauce and lots of sour cream. Chips come with the meal if you dine in, and the salsa is delicious!

Our Actual Burrito

One thing we thought was cool about Gordito’s is they have a children’s play area set up in the corner, with books, puzzles, toys, and coloring books. So neat!

Inside Gorditos

Overall, we would highly recommend this place – it’s inexpensive, you get more than your money’s worth, the staff is very friendly, and the food is wonderful!
