If I’ve made a dish for the last two years in a row for Thanksgiving, doesn’t that constitute a tradition for our little family by now? Especially considering this is only our third Thanksgiving together? I think it does.

Beautiful Things for Bread Pudding
Again, Bittman came through when I was wanting to try a new recipe. I’ve never tried my hand at Bread Pudding, and knew this was my year to give it a shot. I was inspired by his recipe, but inevitably tore it all apart and made it my own. It was pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Read more…

Amazing Dessert at Table 219
Josh and I discovered Table 219 the other night. A tiny little spot on Broadway in Capitol Hill, Table 219 offers classic comfort foods with a bit of flair. We came away knowing we had found a new favorite restaurant.

Grilled Peaches. True Goodness.
For our amazing Lamb, Steak, and Veggie Barbecue, we had to have an equally worthy dessert. When my dad said he had some really good peaches and asked if I wanted to grill them, I knew it was my moment to shine. Read more…
