I have discovered a wonderful new school – Frog Legs Kids Culinary Academy. This new Kids cooking school is in Seattle, and is taught by a wonderful woman named Laura – Culinary Instructor at Sur La Table, and mother of 3.
I got to meet Laura through work (I’m in customer service at a wholesale gourmet kitchen company). She had called in and was stocking up on goodies for her new cooking school. I checked out her website and it’s so neat! There are several class times to choose from, and some of the recipes are season-oriented. There’s lots of discussion, stories, and of course cooking and tasting! Each child brings home a recipe booklet at the end of class, so parents can recreate the treats at home. Laura even does parties!
