Specialty’s Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Cookies and Chocolate Soy Milk

This evening, Josh surprised me with a cookie from Specialty’s. Not just any cookie. Knowing my weakness for chocolate and peanut butter, he brought home a Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Cookie.

I did a little dance.

Later this evening, we were grocery shopping, and I spotted another treat: Chocolate Soy Milk. My mouth started to salivate. I looked at our arms loaded with strawberries, organic nonfat milk…. healthy foods. If it’s soy, it’s healthy, right? Just because it’s loaded with chocolate goodness…. I think the soy overrides the fact. Longing glances in Josh’s direction, and we added the Chocolate Goodness to the pile.

Now we’re home. I unload the groceries, and immediately pull out a glass from the cupboard, pronouncing, “First thing’s first!” and shake the carton and pour…. thick sweet and creamy, it fills my glass and I lift it up to the light in melodramatic joy - “I love this stuff so much, I’m going to blog about it!”

Josh looks at me and says, “Um… your personal blog?”

Hmmm…

Looking around, I remember the Specialty’s Chocolate Chunk and Peanut Butter Cookie. Putting it on a plate, and arranging it next to the glass, I decide, “If it’s paired with a COOKIE, it’s worthy of the food blog.”

And so it is.

Specialty’s Chocolate Chunk and Peanut Butter Cookie with Chocolate Soy Milk. Makes mouths happy.
