Newbie Gardeners

Josh and I dug up a plot in our back yard for a garden! Piles of sod here… goodbye lawn.

We hauled in 1,500lbs of brick to line the plot.

Add plenty of fresh topsoil & compost…

Our baby blueberry bushes!

Ta-daa! Tomatoes, jalapeƱos, shallots, Walla Walla sweet onions, chard and brussel sprouts. Now let’s hope we can keep it all alive.

p.s. – Our little tree flowered for the first time this year, and we were delighted to discover it’s a cherry blossom!
